DESCRIPTION: ‘KNOWN UNTO GOD’\nWW 1 Burial in Holmpatrick Cemetery Skerries\nBy\nDavid Grundy\nDavid’s talk will present his research and probable identification of a WW 1 Royal Navy sailor who was buried during 1918 in a CWGC ‘Known unto God‘ grave in Holmpatrick Cemetery Skerries.\nDavid grew up in the Sandymount suburb of Dublin close to the Irish Sailors and Soldiers disabled veterans houses on Seafort Gardens and from a young age had an awareness and an interest in WW 1.\nSince 1971 he has lived in Skerries, he is married and a father to three adult sons and with two grandsons.
