Event

Annual Service of Remembrance

The Royal British Legion in Dublin holds an Annual Remembrance Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony, often near the Somme anniversary, to remember those who died in World War I and World War II, especially the Irish men and women who served. The event includes a ceremony and wreath laying, and The Royal British Legion hosts it. The event is a significant commemoration of the sacrifices made during these conflicts.

The event is distinct from Remembrance Sunday, which is also observed in Ireland.
