The General Post Office (GPO; Irish: Ard-Oifig an Phoist) is the former headquarters of An Post — the Irish Post Office. It remains its registered office and the principal post office of Dublin and is situated in the centre of O'Connell Street.
1916 Commemoration Ceremony

The Defence Forces will participate in the Commemoration of the Anniversary of the 1916 Rising.
Location
The parade takes place at the GPO on Easter Sunday morning.

The event is normally attended by President of Ireland, An Taoiseach, Minister for Defence, the Lord Mayor of Dublin, representatives of the Garda Síochana and the Defence Forces General Staff.
