The Newman Building, designed by Andrzej Wejchert (who also developed the original campus masterplan) opened in 1970 and was originally known as the Arts-Commerce-Law Building.

Special Workshop
Special Workshop: “Crossroads of Memories, Women, Peace and Conflict”.
The workshop will comprise two papers given by Dr Patrizia Piredda and Dr Gianluca Cinelli on the legacy of the Second World War in the memories of Italian people born between the 1960s and the 1980s.
This research comes from their funded project ‘MemoGen‘.
